Changing the fields for JG/Great/Good/Bad/Poor from input type=text to input type=number would make iOS devices default to the numpad (iPhone)/numeric keyboard (iPad). I believe this is also the case on the stock Android keyboard as well (not that that means anything since phone makers tend to slap on their own half-assed keyboard instead!) That would make entering scores less of a pain on mobile devices, and it doesn't have any repercussions on server-side code whatsoever.

I think there might be one or two browsers that add a little step up/step down control like the NumericUpDown control in Windows.Forms, but I'm pretty sure there's a CSS property to get rid of that.
