This place has Lincle now (3 credits) and it works nice as long as you don't care about actually being able to hear the songs you are playing. THEY FIXED THE VOLUME HOLY SHIT THIS PLACE IS NICE NOW

Also they have GFDMV6 (cool? oh wait it has four-leaf yes i approve) and Pop'n Music 14 Fever (2 credits)...although buttons 2 and 7 seemed fucked up if you ask me

Lincle is on e-amuse, cards are 10 bucks but they didnt have any when i went OH WELL! Go fuckin crazy bitch go fuckin crazy. Go fuckin crazy, bitch

This place is pretty good. I like it better than AI in some ways (less cramped and noisy, for one) though it still can't beat AI until they upgrade certain games. Actually it can, no contest, because AI is dead and buried now :/

fun fact, there was a beatmania THE FINAL machine here in 2004. i don't know what happened to it : (

IIDX is 2 credits, so if you drop $20 on 100 tokens that comes out to 40 cents a game. CHEAP ! ! The keys and turntable are pretty good, although I seemed to notice the 2P key 3 wouldn't respond optimally? could just be my playstyle. There is also a towel on the monitor, which is nice because gay-ass dan mode won't let you use sudden+. fuck tha police

There are 2 main downsides. The minor of the two is that the monitor seems a little tilted; i had to stand at an angle to view the 7k lane straight-on, but it's not an issue with doubles at all. My bigger complaint is the speakers. It's plenty loud, but turning the effector on actually silences the machine (sound is barely audible) so reverb3 etc is out of the question. ALSO some songs are incredibly loud unless you turn the effector on. I couldn't play Let's Say Hello at decent volume because the whistle in that song is pure ear-rape. Just a fair warning! For what it's worth, I'd hate to be trying to play fighting games 5 feet away when someone's playing IIDX here (good thing I don't like fighting games ehuehehe)

Oh yeah! the machine is fully unlocked except for expert mode, which doesn't have another courses available. backsides/TEMPEST/ASAP/etc are all there, but only on Normal and Hyper. Pretty annoying but it's not like Happy Sky's expert courses are that amazing. I don't think platinum/custom courses were set up either? pretty weird!

So stop on by if you're in SoCal, this place is legit, despite a few shortcomings. If you're lucky you might even get to meet Timer Rabbit!

keys will be kept updated by scott he has the switches so most likely ill just hit him up whenever things go bad

as for styles i think its really up to eddie whenever he feels like it.

the iidx effectors are set idk how they did it but they cant be fixed as far as i can remember.

popn will be updated soon to 14 i believe then fantasia whenever it comes out but who knows how long that will take honestly.

Playing Happy Sky reminded me of when I first started to go to AI (RIP), though I forgot sudden+ in this version doesn't have the numbers on it (not talking about the green one) and you can't turn it off during the song, godDAMN. The machine itself is in good condition so once they upgrade to something newer it'll own more.

I would update the OP to reflect the changes but I'm too lazy.

Pop'n 20 works great. All the buttons were replaced or something; it's so nice that I attempted to clear Oi Punk EX on mirror (of course i didn't but if you told me a week ago i'd be attempting on THAT cab i'd have just laughed at you)

The extra stage system blows ass but that's old news. At least you can fail the first stage with no worries now, wasn't like that on fever

ALSO it seems the 2 key on IIDX's right side is in working order again? *shrug* 532nm is unlocked BUT THE MAD MASS IZM COURSE ISN'T what the shrek man!!!! someone should go see if allscratch works yet (i dont know how to input it)
