edit: Yeah score trackers says he cleared 11 10s.

Reminds me of when Morning Blue's brother cleared Scorpion FIre [a] before I did, with like 120 misses. CS clears sure mean a lot!

Losing money for whoring out songs you have very little chance of clearing, I guess.

also how the hell is it possible to have cleared any 10s but have an e on waxing and wanding [h]

I dunno there's way easier 10s than waxing and wanding out there but even when I had trouble with that chart I had like an A on it haha.

Obviously none of your clears mean anything if you don't play on a real AC machine exclusively

Yeah I'm kind of struggling to interpret that comment as meaning anything else than that

and if so then saying it was kind of a Gabe Moment

on AC you can't change the lifebar difficulty unless you own the machine, and considering most arcades wanna make a profit they keep the lifebar setting greater than or equal to the default gauge. go play a hard song on life3, then life1, and see how big the difference is in how close you get to clearing.

If DKW were hard clearing 10s that'd be different, since the hard gauge isn't effected by the difficulty setting in Options. DKW is probably a 6 or 7* player on average

There's nothing which says that arcade clears aren't from a machine with life difficulty set to 1, it's just that most arcades have it at default. Most CS players also have it at default so I don't really see the difference here. Sure, people can put it to 1 and then claim clears on stuff but people could also just lie completely about clear status and you wouldn't know without pictorial proof. In the end you have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Oh, I do, but when I see crap like a clear on curucurulabu with 250 misses, it raises suspicion. As I mentioned earlier, DKW does everything possible to make video games easy (gameshark on Final Fantasy 7), so I believe he has the life difficulty at the lowest setting. Either way his scores make no sense, how do you clear FEEL IT [a] but get an F on Happy Angel [A], that's fucked up. this is fucked up too, the sound of goodbye is a reasonably tough 10 and his misscount is enormous. he probably just checked "cleared" by accident but with DKW you can never really know.

Also, photos of the result screen usually tip you off to whether someone's playing on Super Easy mode or not. Look at this shit. :edetective: If you miss 100+ notes on moon_child [a], or any other 12, you're not gonna stay in the red for the majority of the song. But still, who the fuck cares, this game is about scores...that's what me and schala decided on, and we've talked about this a lot lol

Curucuru Lab [a] (I assume you mean) has all the hard shit right at the start. The rest is pretty simple, I can believe a clear with 250 misses. I have a clear on Go Beyond!! with hundreds of misses after all tongue.gif

Could be past clears with lower score too.
