3rd style L14(5*) 463 notes - (this doesn't exist here)
3rd style A14(10*) 591 notes. - (11*)

6th style L14(4*) 445 notes.
6th style A14(10*) 591 notes. - (590 notes, 11*, compare measure 49, I wonder if the song sounds different?).

Looks like all these scores [when you click on the L14 in 3rd style, which happens to link to 6th], - some of which are from over 6 years ago, are all invalid..? haha.

I played the A14 in DDAC a few times without any idea how to hit those patterns and flatlining, and it was awesome, it's been removed in EMPAC though which sucks, EMPAC has removed too much, so I'm getting 3rd style CS shortly so I can play it once again, I had a quick browse on textage and noticed the different notecounts.

Take away a note from the 6th style A14 and change the rating to 11*, then rename it to "luv to me(disco mix)(6th+)" just like the "5.1.1.(10th+)".

After that, create a brand new entry for 3rd style "luv to me(disco mix)" with 463 and 591 notes for the L14 and A14.

That is, if you guys can do that stuff, or care to. =p

I suppose I could do this if people really care that much about playing Luv To Me (Disco Mix) doubles on 3rd style, but I'm not sure if anyone really plays 3rd style doubles these days since the scores don't save properly. Thanks for bringing it to my attention anyway.

Hm, 6 score entries in 6 years..!!

For the record it seems like Bad Boy 14K, Deep In You L7/L14, Gambol L7/L14/14K (what's different there?), Genom Screams L7/L14, Keep On Movin' 7K/14K, Sense A7 and Tangerine Stream L7/L14 all have unique charts in 3rd style compared to a later style, but I haven't checked if the scoretracker knows that or not.

If it was just a correction then I'd do it but this would require me to add 2 more songs to the database to accommodate the 6 people who play the song on doubles at all in case they decide to play it on doubles on the one style where nobody should play doubles ever. emot-colbert.gif

It was, originally, a conscious decision by Remy to include only the latest version of charts when a song had its notechart changed after 3rd style, because there are a LOT of instances where that happened. I think a lot of the popular 3rd style versions have since been re-added (Sense, etc) but 3rd style doubles charts are, as Xythar said, kind of dumb for several reasons.

Yeah I was going to cite that earlier but then I realised they had been added at some point down the track. Still, even something like Sense [a] on 3rd would have affected 10-20 times as many people as Luv to Me doubles.

3rd Style doubles is a novelty at best. I'm not going to buy a 2nd memory card to submit scores for a game with players in the single digits. Luv to Me is perfectly fine on 6th, the change between notecharts is barely noticeable. It's like Macho Gang h14 vs a14.

Brazilian Rhyme and S.O.S. 14k are pretty fucking fun though.

How much work does adding 2 more songs to the database require?

Not a huge amount (not an insignificant amount either because I need to update 3 databases, but it's no big deal). It's more an issue of cluttering the song list and figuring out what to do with the current score data.

Also if the L7/7K/A charts did not change from 3rd to 6th then I'd need to add in even more masking rules to the code so that the original L14/A14 don't show up on 6th style and so that the L14 is hidden on 3rd. With the way the code currently works, you can only add a whole song to a style (not individual charts) which means that specific code needs to be added for every specific song/chart combination you don't want to show up. It's a bit of a pain but that's how it is right now.
