Topic says all. Please. Sucks to have to check every song separately. I'd also love to have hardclear counts with percentages just like the normal clear counts.

Oh yes and one minor funny I've noticed:
In song session, the '>>' after a song goes to song display.
However, in viewuser for yourself the '>>' goes to song data entry, which means I often end up in the wrong place on the first try simply because I'm so used to the logic in song session... ;)

Even better yet, give hard clear status a color like every other clear status. It's kind of odd how fail = solid red, clear = solid vanilla, hard clear = orange outline, FC = solid green, and PC = solid blue. HC is just another level of pwnage between cleared and full comboed, right? I know why hard clears have that border and I remember when it was a new feature, but then again you also used to support auto-scratch.

You will note in the game that easy/normal/hard is tracked separately from clear/FC/PC. This makes sense when you consider that:

1) Sometimes (rarely) a hard clear is easier than a normal clear, usually on easy songs with stupid endings.

2) You can hard clear a song without full comboing it, and you can full combo a song without hard clearing it (you have to be trying to get excess poors, but it CAN be done).

But you do get an automatic HC if you FC something as of RED.

Hard clear is tracked seperately from normal clears, but not the other way around. I wish the game would just display "HARD" for a hard clear... thus, to get "HARD CLEAR", you would need both normal and hard clears.

When I get bored one of these days, I want to see what happens on RED if you FC + hard fail a song (i.e. fail by excess poor after hitting the last note with an FC... I think this is possible, anyway) and also for normal fail + FC.

A FullCombo is considered to include HardClear, because everybody, that can FC a song, can also HardClear it.

Hard fail. Fail out on the last note, still got hard clear credit / FC credit.

'sup 2006

Still, was browsing my own DJ page earlier and thought it would be nice if hard clears would show up as orange boxes on a user page; similar to the clear lamps in songsession.

Just a thought. Just because it dates back to 2006 doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad one.

sounds like a good idear

stuff like mei is always going to be non-FC'd so it'd be nice to have an orange box to set it apart from the standard yellow clear

Did 3.0 do this? I forget. It's a good idea in either case.
