Same with Classic 8 EX.

EDIT: Wait...he has Classic 8 Ex and Grunge Des Ex (arguably the two of the hardest songs in CS popn)  passed but not Contemporary Nation or Retro Pop Ska?
Does that make any sense?
*

No. I don't think there's anyone that can do Classic 8 but not Retro Pop Ska or Contemporary Nation. Both of those are much, much easier.

Oh, and where's SILV's Grunge-Des score/video? I'd like to see it.

I *think* it was posted by a friend of his at that Chinese site, Fight Club. I don't remember where I heard about it, but I searched Google and came up with this:

classic 8 isnt that hard as you think, if you get some bars (like 5/8 orso) left after the mashing part, youll you can still make it if you do everything well thats comes after it, but Classic 9 is just OR too fast OR too slow, but probably he's bad at (fast) scales

I don't know of anyone passing Classic 8 before Classic 9, though.
Ending with 5/8 bars is a lot harder than it seems.

agreed on both points. classic 8 EX is much harder to pass than classic 9 EX.

I remember Andy said he could do Classic 8 EX without trouble but could not do Classic 9 or Oi Punk 0. I think it just depends on what you are good at...

-Oh and I looked at Foxy's scores and it looks like they changed their stuff... I'd still like to see pictures though.

I remember people telling me Andy couldn't pass 37s and was quite the liar.

Just saying.

I'd have no idea; he never posted pictures of anything. Same with Kaze; he said he could do 8 and 9 but wouldn't post pictures.

--And does anyone else think it's a bit suspicious that every score of FOXY's brought up in this thread has been changed? It seems like FOXY is reading this thread...

Well, if the hard-to-believe passes are gone, then we've basically got what we want.

There is the implication, however, of whether altering the scores is an admission of guilt, and in turn whether that implies that they may have fake scores in the system for other songs. But in this case, it was only the clear status that was under suspicion, right? Hmmm... not sure how to interpret this.

The easiest way would be for FOXY themselves to post here and explain the situation, and if they are indeed reading this topic, I would suggest to them that they do so before anyone jumps to a conclusion on their own.

I met him at TGA in August, when he told me his latest big accomplishment was passing Prelude Long (which even I could pass at the time, with about eight months of key-sounded Bemani under my belt), so I'd agree that his claims of a Classic 8 pass and an SDB on Classic 4 are rather fishy. My ride and I left just before Andy got around to playing Pop'n, though, so the mystery lingers yet.

That reminds me: Crono, what's your best on Prelude? Above 190K?

Pretty terrible. 182514. I should put some effort into rectifying that.

First time I've seen this thread... I can only play on the weekend due to crappy dorms, so things get played and updated all at once.
Classic 8: I was entering a bunch of scores and forgot to uncheck the box. Fixed
Grunge-Des : It said cleared on the scores screen, so I left it cleared. It wasn't a standard clear though, and is unchecked now. Actually, I think it was on that Hell 10 expert course... with Symph Metal/Grunge-Des and 2 other 40+. Fixed.

Does that make any sense?

I have passed Contemporary Nation and Retro Pop Ska since then and have updated.
<3 Thanks for all the attention <3

Edit: My score is #2 on Retro Pop Ska! Please accuse and speculate <3<3<3

I don't mean to be an ass, and I normally don't get caught up in this stuff, but would you mind at least getting one picture of SOMETHING up? I'm not the BANBANBAN type or anything but some of the stuff was a tad suspicious. Thanks, Owen.

This weekend I'll take some. PS2 is at home and there isn't much I can do from here. I also don't have a place to host pictures. Suggestions?
