I recently bought another JKOC here in Japan and noticed after playing a tonne of AC IIDX that suddenly i'm mising the turtable again when i go to scratch. I've noticed that some people have managed to pull off a mod to increase the TT distance as you can see on k1sa1's controller in video here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6hlrzIaX4g&feature=plcp

I was just wondering if anyone knows how this is done because i'd really like to mod my controller to be more AC accruate

I love the hand-drawn diagrams on that page.

The mod looks... involved... and a little terrifying. I am also curious to hear about people's experiences.

uh you just

open base
unscrew screws holding PCB in, loosen corner screw
tilt PCB out, tighten screw
undo screws holding keypanel connector plastic, set screws + plastic somewhere safe
slide keys over to side, put something in the gap so it doesn't move
push keypanel connector into keys
(optionally cover "something in gap" + connector with something?)
close base

like can you screw things? unscrew? you're fine.
