I didn't see something like this, probably because you guys are all beyond this.

Consistently finding the timing window on this game is proving to be a massive challenge. My rhythm is perfectly fine; I am just not pressing the button when the stupid game wants me to. It might be due to the fact that I'm feeling incredibly sick at the moment, but whatever. Example:

what the fucking christ

nm I found the window, but I quit right before the 32nd glissandos because I just got splash beats

The names Bong, James Bong.

Dude I think you missed one. That song is really hard, it could even be as hard as Rakuen, or 5.1.1. [a]!

The only way to time IIDX is actually to be DJ ALPER, KINGMASTER OF DJGAMEZ.

I think to gain those sort of credentials you have to play for over four hours!!!! Otherwise you're just another neophyte and your advice is useless.

At least you:
* correctly identified the problem, and
* got your groove (gauge) back

I've seen people play AC IIDX/DDR, not for their first time, clear a song with a C/D, and then turn to me and complain about how the game is off synch and how good their timing is in some other game. rolleyes.gif In my book, if you can't hit the timing windows, then you suck at rhythm games. And of course they come back at me with "What do you know?" or "Just because you can do it doesn't mean that it's not off sync!" rolleyes.gif Think about that last one.

I'm not at all making fun of new players. If someone is seriously trying and they clear a beginner song with an E then that's great! I'm talking about the people who stand in front of a game and pound out goods/greats for 2 minutes without trying to adjust. It's like they're not even playing a rhythm game.

EDIT: Isn't this the Nemesis forum?

This is a parody topic of the original (well it's identical except for the screenshot), which was in Glorious Days in a similarly inappropriate manner.

hey, I also got splash beats smile.gif which the other guy doesn't.

and also Catastrophe lol before you think someone is a nub I suggest clicking on "DJ battle this user". lol I've saved face MANY a times by seeing how good that person is and realizing they're joking. I don't mean this in a mean way though smile.gif you responded really nicely, just a little tip is all. lol I still hate Happy Sky's timing though, it really does force me to use a higher speed mod than I'd prefer.

hahaha I remember when I checked against Oni and a few others, oh man. Thank god I've never been on the receiving end of Oni's flame stick lol.

Bong, same here haha, I always end up using faster speeds than I normally would on Happy Sky.

DJ Battle? Pfft - you don't have scores for any of my good songs! Of course I lose to everyone on their 50 best songs! *Ignores the people who beat me 1130-63.* *checks a bunch of boxes* *Brags about beating awesome players 63-0.*

Yeah, I assume that when people have < 150 public scores that they're trying to highlight their best scores. I also that everyone I meet is better than me at IIDX. (never fails :|)

This thread is hilarious for the record but let's move it to Take It Easy so it doesn't get in the way of the normal Nemesis stuff.
