Closer to the end of this year I'll be able to take a road trip. I need to pick up a car from Nashville, TN (flying there), and find my way back to CO. I'll be going alone because my wife can't get the time off of work, so this gives me the freedom to go ANYWHERE I WANT. I don't want to go to the corners of USA because it's too far out of the way and I'll take up too much time coming back.
Can anyone recommend a couple of their favorite landmarks that aren't at the corners of the map? (places like southern florida and NY/TGA are a little out of reach unless I have good incentive to go there...) or does anyone wanna hang out and play some IIDX/DDR/ITG/SSBM/Racquetball/Ultimate Frisbee/Laser Tag/etc.?

If I were you, I'd go to Omaha.

What's in Omaha?
edit: lots of bemani, apparently. I might stop by on my way back, but I'm more looking forward to seeing places and people and things rather than playing games that I can play most of them at home everyday. But if anyone lives around there I could meet then it would be fun.

If it's in December, myself, along with a bunch of my friends, will be making the 6 hour trek to play their almost completely unplayed IIDX RED. Seriously, whenever we're there, even on 1 token Bemani day, IIDX barely gets played. Same with Drummania. Guitar Freaks get a fair share of people though.

Middle of September.

I don't have pictures as I live 6 hours away from it, but a friend of mine was in that area just after they replaced it and said that, while it's a smaller screen than the original, you can see perfectly clearly.

I like to keep myself informed when it comes to the place I usually end up spending vacation time at.
