listen up, yesterday I saw the broken website and I mean, it could have been an x-rated shock image. but I really think that it is a symbolic suggestion for us as a country to pay attention to the future so that we can move towards the hope of tomorrow and away from genocide and toxic rhetoric. remember you can make a difference if you just get out and stop the genocide of innocent civilians. thank you for playing devil's advocate but wise up! start thinking in shades of grey, it's a symptom of a world in motion that syria begins shaking things up. for syrians, it's time to air their opinions out in the open. which they can do, thanks to the fallen men and women who sacrificed themselves for that privilege. under the shadow of oppressive regimes, this becomes increasingly difficult. it is the hope of syria that a sort of reunion of opposing ideas can take place, with me working hard, with you...supporting the cause, I think it's possible. as long as our intentions are in sync I believe we can fly the flag of peace, hopefully that selfsame syrian flag bearing two four-leaf stars . not a flag of empire state glory, but of democratic state glory. I had a dream last night of a far middle east nightbird and it landed atop a flagpoll to see us off into the future. so what's next? we can't just celebrate once it's all over with some kind of arabian rave night, listening to foreign music by SA.RI.N.AR.A super star. it's important that we keep motivating the masses and get'em up to REBEL. a brasyrian fire burns deep in the heart of syria's people, and that fire, fire that can not be extinguished, is what will allow the country to fly above, and go beyond, the hardships.

I guess bemanistyle supports the rebels.

Starmen.net is about a series of very similar games that are much easier to focus on than a huge range of games in the same genre that all appeal to different crowds. I doubt anyone could ever create a community like Starmen.net for that reason.

I applaud Eddie for what he started up, but the truth is that he regularly overextended himself when he needed to focus on building up the site/community more (mini projects galore), and probably should have handed over to the reigns to someone with the drive and time to do that. Sad to see another pillar of the community gone, but much like DDR Freak and DDRManiaX, it was past due anyways.

Anyways, #FREEBOUNCECONNECTED.

The only part of bemanistyle I really miss is the regional board since it was a good way to stay caught up with what was happening at the local arcades. The site was already pretty dead before they got 0wn3d by the Syrians.

Does anyone know what's the story behind this pentavision global shop/bemanistyle drama? I see it mentioned every once in a while on the facebook page comments with Eddie refusing to address it.

I liked bemanistyle up until about right after the release of beatmania US, when they still offered mp3 downloads for the latest Bemani games and the forum members were still relatively sane/funny. I slowly migrated to VJArmy little by little after that.
