Sucker Punch

not sold, why should I watch this I mean it looks like it's starring a scene girl who would unironically spout the phrase "epic fail" as actual dialogue

Tron Legacy was really aurally and visually appealing. That is all I've seen lately. sad.gif

Fuck yes, this movie is great.

And the new prequel they're making has Carpenter's blessing - he's apparently had a hand in everything leading right up into production, so that should be great, hopefully :>

I think the last good movie I saw was The Social Network, and that was ages ago

I still have to see the last half-hour of The Social Network, which I missed due to work before the movie was over.

Any thoughts on the new Pirates film? Does anyone even care?

So is anyone planning to see The Hobbit? Just saw the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy again for the first time in years and I'm kind of excited for another film.

Watched the trilogy a couple months ago and I couldn't care less about The Hobbit. Maybe I should have waited to see The Hobbit first, then the trilogy.

Pretty excited for The Hobbit actually. I'm planning on going to see it once the hype dies out a bit.

Yeah, the absence of Liv Tyler is automatically a plus!

When my friend, Razer and I all saw the films again recently, we fast-forwarded through all the scenes with her.

I'm not excited for The Hobbit, for a lot of reasons. I know I'll see it at some point, though.

I am, however, excited for Man of Steel, even if that's months away. May be the next film I see in theaters, though, at this rate.

I'm still sitting on Man of Steel. My view of Synder fell dramatically after I watched Sucker Punch.

Edit: Saw the new trailer. I retract my earlier comment.

Yeah I haven't been to a theater since The Dark Knight Rises and I don't think that's going to change for Man of Steel, unfortunately.

It could not miss the point of Superman harder if it tried. I'd argue it got the rest of the cast right though.
