Where did you get that "information" from? I know in this city, no one has suddenly flocked off the ITG2 machine to play some 4 year old and/or shitty DDR mixes.

Yeah, but yer all Canadian. ;P

Actually, I agree. I haven't seen any renewed DDR spirit now that SuperNOVA AC is out... Maybe even a little bit in the opposite direction.

Edit: if only the US had e-amuse. that could EASILY outsale e-amuse for DDR in Japan. not to mention we'd get our unlocks a lot quicker D:

That'd be a good idea if most arcades in the US were willing to pay for e-amuse. I'm sure there's a handfull that would, but I don't know how much extra money the majority would be willing to spend.

AFAICS most US arcades aren't even willing to pay for games, let alone e-amuse. They just get bootlegs of everything.

Yeah...that's pretty much the case. It takes many players to get up and write petitions and long letters just to upgrade machines or get them fixed, let alone install upgrades or god forbid, install an internet connection for ranking!

I'm still bitter that the only DDR 5th mix in the City here was converted to DDR MEGAMIX. Oh yes. I just want to flock downtown to play that.

I've never even heard of DDR MEGAMIX. Is that a bootleg mix or something?

Dance Dance Revolution: This song, named after the game series itself, is initially only available as "One More Extra Stage". The Challenge stepset consists almost entirely of Heavy patterns from other classic DDR songs. In order of step pattern appearance, these songs are: "BRILLIANT 2U (ORCHESTRA GROOVE)", "DEAD END", "DYNAMITE RAVE", "AFRONOVA", "END OF THE CENTURY", "AM-3P", "CELEBRATE NITE", and "B4U".

...Totally did not know that.

5th has good music, but without speed modifiers I don't see how anyone can play DDR.

I still play on 1x Flat.

That's what IIDX needs. Flat. Change all the key colors to grey. Then I have to do 1x Flat Random Sudden and I can S4R IIDX. COME ON KONAMI.

There's nothing hard enough on 5th to warrant speed mods, really...well, other than maybe Radical Faith, cause it's slow as hell. That and I never really play for score on 5th. I'll get my 4 greats on Petit Love and be happy. smile.gif

Kamikaze A14 is sort of on flat. tongue.gif

But I guess Shuffle would screw that back up again.
