I am making my own ASC soon, and Ive got a couple questions. Is there a consensus on whether the ros need to be spaced 5.5, or 5.25 apart vertically ?
Also which buttons are the best to buy, happ, coinopexpress, wico..... I want a button that will treat me well for years in longevity and sensitivity. If coinops are the best (which Ive heard) does anyone sell them in sets of just the 9, instead of 100's.

thanks in advance smile.gif

As I recall, the Konami ASC is 5.75 and all arcade machines are 5.5. I'm pretty sure my (5.75 spacing) Ransai has the buttons further apart than any arcade machine I've played on, and I've played on both models of machine.

wow so it sounds like 5.5 is where I want to be for an arcade style. I had read on bemanistyle that people said it was 5.25, but maybe it changed on a later arcade release.
Do you prefer the arcade spacing over your ransai ? or can you not tell a big difference ?

Ive gone from playing on my 5.75 Ransai to a machine 5.5 and never really noticed it. Id say go with what you want.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will do a 5.5" since thats what I have the blueprints for smile.gif I was just worried there would be a huge difference.
