For those that do not visit there, Bemanistyle has just announced that a fax indicates that a new arcade IIDX style may be in the future.
Current speculation about it: QUOTE ("Bemanistyle.com") - Over 320 songs available for play - Over 45 new songs - Weekly Ranking from 9th Style returns - E-Amuse system upgrade - Songs from Pop'n Music and Guitar Freaks/Drummania will be included. Rumors we've heard so far: - An Onoken song is being featured, it's rumored to be Envelope from the Swell Strings album. - A new Ryu* song is included. - Iconoclasm (dj TAKA & wac) has a new song in the game. - Kors K did the system music. - Trance heavy (particularly Goa Trance). Sounds pretty cool from this.  The fax has a "IIDXRED" logo on the top. Wonder what the "RED" is all about.... -------------------- Kilroy was here --m-O_O-m--

Not sure why, but the "X" in the fax's "IIDX RED" logo reminds me a lot of the DDR Extreme logo. Maybe another link-up version?

Nah. Much as I'd love to see Tears and Vanity Angel in IIDX (PLEASE PUT TEARS AND VANITY ANGEL IN IIDX, KONAMI) DDR is dead in Japan.

I'd like to get it out in the open now that any songlists that you may see before the game is CONFIRMED to be in location test are bogus. It'll be another week or so, I'd guess.
Remember the "insider info" that people have been posting about DDR 9th Mix for over a year and a half now? |

Yeah. I really don't like licenced trance that isn't Deadline (or to a considerably lesser extent Fly Away) but the Konami original trance rocks.
