For PSP. All the songs so far are from Adventure, and there's over 80 songs. Looks like there is 3, 5, 7, and 9 button mode.

It's nice but... I would much rather have a real Adventure CS than a fake handheld version.

Well, it's better than nothing. I've been playing a lot of DJ MAX lately so I should enjoy this.

Every time I think Konami can't possibly troll their fanbase harder, they outdo themselves.

Oh well, still getting it. It'll at least be playable unlike Pop'n Music Wii.

It's a good thing I've played DJ MAX Portable before. This should be interesting.

So....is every Bemani franchise except IIDX going to be treated like shit from now on CS-wise, or just pop'n?

(Also, 511th post. Heh.)

I said this on sows but doesn't this mean konami somewhat knows how to develop for PS3? Unless it's running like PSX pop'ns in which case eh, probably won't be that great. Could also lightly hint at PS3 compatability or something like that considering the cross-compatability stuff. Either way, this should be great as long as they include the original EXs mellow.gif

I see this and the Pop'n Music Wii game as more testing the waters for other platforms, to see how easy it is to port these games to them and also potentially seeing what kind of sales they get on these new platforms. If any of these are very successful I expect that it could lead to further Bemani enterprises on those platforms. Granted, the Pop'n Music Wii game was not really a traditional Pop'n game in that sense, but this one seems a little more along the lines of a traditional Pop'n Portable type title.

I intensely dislike playing Pop'n on a controller. Thanks for nothing again, Konami.

This pretty much. 5-button I'm okay with, but 9-button...no way.

I'd probably still import this if I owned a PSP, though. It will probably only be $50 or so, so it wouldn't be THAT expensive anyway. It will be better than the Game Boy games, at any rate.

(Heh..I noticed the word filter for "quoted for truth".)

Imagined Thought process behind Konami making this game: "Okay you people can play every single popn15 song thanks to your piracy efforts, and now you can walk the Path to Niente and unlock it all too! Quit your bitching."

I think it looks alright. I don't even own a PSP though so I doubt I'll be playing this until I REALLY NEED to play MGSPO and whatever the hell else is on PSP.

How would you even play 9 button on the PSP though it'd be ridiculous sad.gif

I don't see myself going past 5 line in this so I hope they have some harder charts for it (DJMax style) and not just easy stuff like in the real game

Axem doesn't play video games, so probably him. Do you actually think it looks alright, or are you just saying that because Setzer likes controller music games.

RBU is actually pretty good since it's basically Amplitude with DJMax controls rebranded as a Rock Band game. There's not much reason not to get it unless you're some kind of who automatically hates all western music btns.gif

I guess the lack of high speed is annoying but beyond that it's pretty fun!
