Don't we already know what's going to be on this collection thing, and most of it is stuff that doesn't need to be revived? I guess it's going to be the best CS since HS either way, going by that screenshot.

We know what songs from Empress AC are going to be on the collection. I counted 127 songs on that list so I dunno if we're gonna get anything besides that, but DD had Smoke and DJT had switch so I'd be surprised if there aren't any blasts from the past on this game...i.e. something that deserves to be revived.

Also, "stuff that doesn't need to be revived" "best CS since HS either way, going by that screenshot [WITH V PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED]" reminds me of

Empress CS episodes 1-8 were okay to decent but they really jumped the shark after that, yeah

Dang, says over 180 songs. I know I'm late to this I don't come here often enough to participate in active discussion anymore.

Two discs, dang. Wish they'd make an append disc so we could play songs from older styles on the new visual theme. Probably pretty complicated to do that, though. I've been wishing that since 6th style CS. Hahahahahaha.... it'll never happen.

But still, over 180 songs is gonna be rockin. Good thing there are PS2 -> PS3 adaptors... If IIDX goes triple, I'm definitely sold on the system even if though it's big enough to crush me to death in my sleep. Dang, over 180 songs... Wow. I know I'll be playing the revivals disc a lot more than the Empress disc, that's for sure. New songs in Empress aren't so great, I play almost revivals exclusively at the arcade. :/

I actually have only listened to a few songs from Empress yet so a lot about the songlist is unfamiliar to me. This may be the first CS gave that I have been relatively "unspoiled" for in...ever.

I listened to the entire OST, all I remember from it are a couple of words from House Nation.

Am I the only one who finds it slightly disturbing that baby music GAVE BIRTH to dance music?

I went through all of the songs once at the arcade, trust me, you're not missing much.

Oops, remind me to proof read my posts better to for it at then me.

But yeah, I just looked at the revival list and am totally disappointed that there is no VIRTUAL MIND. But I'm sure all the COOTE LOVERS are stoked to hear about BLAME's glorious return.

Also, I was looking at RMZ's post a while ago regarding V, and it made me think... maybe a cool alteration for his name could be RM v.gif .

with the total at over 180 that leaves a lot of room for more 5k revivals!
Seriously Konami.. you give us an append disc that isn't Beatmania The Final?

Considering it premiered in 5th, was gone by 7th, returned in GOLD, and was gone again by EMPRESS, I'd say the Japanese IIDX players have unfathomably bad taste, and we'll probably never see it in another home release.

I didn't remember if CYO is being revived, but I'm gonna be hardcore and only play it on 9th

(and GAMBOL [A] on RED just in case, but as stated already I really doubt timing adjust will make this song "easier")

4th and LS2 is the true CYO experience.

I'm really excited for this, probably because it's my first CS release. Well, I bought the OST too. I like most of it a lot, so the higher-than-usual proportion of things that are pretty terrible doesn't really bother me.
