Remy, can I make one request? Please let VJA 4.0 have Cat and Sailboat functionality. biggrin.gif

I respond so fast I might break the prison glass.
So you're saying you should be able to act like this to a forum administrator, or a teacher, or a police officer, or your own parents and get away with it. You're supposed to respect these folks.

If you or a friend has the Sailor Moon S (uncut) boxset, or any of the Sailor Moon movies (uncut), and would like to sell or trade them, please contact me!

The way I see it, me and Axem are lucky in that we have around 4 years to avoid becoming an utter fuckup like you. It's a nice feeling, being young.

I've noticed that for your first entry for a score (eg it was blank) then you get a full board. If you already have a score, you get a quick edit.

No, I get the full board for some songs I've already entered scores on as well. Weird :???:

I just committed some fixes related to the quick entry form, are you still not getting it on some songs you have already entered scores for? I'm not sure about the layout issue. What version of Firefox are you using? Is it an official build or built by your distribution?

Do you guys get notices when a bug has a modification/update to it? I provided some information to the bug I submitted (#50, ViewStyle select issue) that should help, but I wasn't sure if you guys would see it unless you were browsing through it randomly.

We don't get notified on updated bugs yet (note to self: look into that) so thanks for the heads up. IE6 is on the borderline of being supported but IE7 has the same z-index stacking issue so we'll try to get it fixed.

I use IE7 at home, but I suppose I can be persuaded to use Firefox if it stops fucking up my cookies. dry.gif I like 4.0 a lot so I would like to use it more.

I committed a fix a bit ago that should fix the z-index issues people were experiencing in IE6 and 7. Go forth and enjoy.

Great work, guys. Site looks clean. I'm gonna also throw in a request for grid layout, though...

This is one of the things that makes the current VJ Army site so convenient for me. I can maximize my browser window and have every song in any given style visible without any scrolling required -- a godsend for when you're playing the game, and just want to glance down at the screen for reference in between songs.

I have one more minor request. Viewsong needs some polish.

- In version 4, the text size is smaller than version 3.
- In verison 4, the width is capped; you can't grow the window to get the page to reflow. In version 3, growing the window gave more space to each table column.

The combination of these two elements means that for version 4, the text on the viewsong page is both smaller and more cramped than version 3. This is a step backwards no matter how you slice it.

Also, in Safari, the "Clear Rate" for a song tends to overlap the "Recorded On" label.

In the enter score page, all of the stars are replaced with question marks (in the difficulty column). I'm using Firefox 2.0.

I think that's because you need Japanese text support on Windows to see the stars. I could be wrong, however.

Another thing I noticed is that if you input a score lower than your previous score using the quick method, it doesn't give you the warning.

EDIT: Also, you can't see your comments in session mode.

If you mean quick entry, we know already.

Has the "bold" issue been mentioned before? The one where you input a score and then it should become bold to indicate that it is the last score submitted?

Am I missing something glaring here? I can login, but when I try to go to any of the submission or preference pages, it just refers me back to the start page.

e.g. http://www.vjarmy.com/iidx-next/session.php forwards me back to http://vjarmy.com/iidx-next/index.php

Leave the www off the domain name. It shouldn't even allow you to use that...

My bad...

That was me typing in the first half of it. into the forum box.

I think the problem was my login session got fubar somehow. I was in some limbo. It would say 'Welcome dj _____, and not show the login screen. However, it would not let me to the score entering screen. I nuked my cookies, re-logged in, and all was fine.

Great job on the site though... its a nice revamp smile.gif
