Well, considering it's Iroha, it's not necessarily just traditional Japanese stuff but also traditional Japanese stuff for kids, hence Graduation fitting it and Tanabata and all the rest. And Kei-row fits into that by being about old people rocking out like they were kids.

How doesn't it make sense? It's the Alphabet song, hence, I think it connects to things kids would enjoy as they go through school or growing up. Also it works as a sort of basic Japanese-types of things since Iroha works for that too. All of those extra festivals are "the basics" for Japan.

Well, "iroha" baaaasically means ABCs, so I guess in context its extending to mean anything basic or elementary. (granted, i don't know if this *is* the case, as I've only played Carnival, but what Kosaka Riyu's saying doesnt *not* make sense)

Oh wow, 2 new 41's already and a possible 42(maybe?) in Hip Rock 5.

It'd be nice to be able to hear how some of the new songs sound. Though it's only the first day, so something should probably appear sooner or later, right?

oh my god a song rated 150 how hard will this be compared to toycon

Also I always thought Iroha was holiday/festival themed more than traditional japan themed, or sort of a combination of both.

I don't know when, but several songs that were thought to be removed from 17 were not.

It's definitely guaranteed now though, since Konami probably lost the right to Kiyomi Kumano's songs, similar to BeForU (except Chikara, for some stupid reason).

I know, and that baffles me. Though I suppose licenses have different restrictions than Konami originals..

And removal lists from pop'n 9 to 16 were usually just licenses. This is only the second time since the switch to PC hardware that Konami's really been removing a lot of original songs.

Well, it's certainly not as bad as the last removal list. Still, Darkness? Removing that was mean, what with it being doomed to Pop'n 7 as far as CS goes.
