Let us know when Pop'n/GFDM get installed, since I have friends here who I can probably convince into at least a day trip for some GFDM, and I'd love to play some AC Pop'n.

Speaking of Schlagwerk, has anyone noticed there's a pattern now for reviving it? IIDX 18 PURIFIEd CS will have it too.

Pop'n is here!
I have not been blessed to play it since I've been sick for a week now. It will be 75cents for 3 songs.

I know I said that in the first post but no, it is not.

It is a 9th cab with a Fever upgrade kit.

But to be honest, I have put well over 30 bucks into that thing already and out of all my plays I noticed ONE bad that wasn't the players fault, and it wasn't even me playing. and it might have not even been the machine, it was a hard call.

So I finally go to play and put a few bucks in, and wouldn't you figure, the Pop'n machine is broken. Already. Sign said the coin slot is out of order [the change machine is dead too, for those who may go anyway]. So much for that.

PS wow GF music sucks. I hope V3 is slightly less embarrassing.

GF which one? Aside from the first few games, I don't remember GFDM really having any embarrassing songs ever. The style of the music changed with V to a more realistic style but aside from that, it's pretty much always golden for me.

Wanna Be Your Boy lolol

But yeah, overall GF/DM has some of the best music in Bemani. It's no coincidence that Marble is the best Bemani artist album by a mile and is about 75% GF/DM music.

I don't know, but whatever we were playing was just bad. At such a high volume I just didn't want to play it anymore. Not saying that Pop'n is better (fuck no) but yeah, I wasn't impressed.

Dont know if you know about 2Play.

But if you did, Mark the owner is an idiot and thought he would put his shitty GF1 US machine there.

Trust me, we have been trying to get him to take it out.

as far as Popn goes, I was there all night, supprized I didn't see you if you stopped during the evening, but the coinmech only takes 50 yen coins so basicly you can only play when Arbel is around to open it up until his coinmech comes in the mail.

Yeah, that's kind of stupid to have a brand new machine in there that people can't actually play. Good business decision :-/ Should have just waited to install the new coin acceptor before sticking the cabinet in there.

Its a better choice then letting it sit in storage for weeks on end.

At least its making some money.

His cab, his choice.

So I finally got to play Pop'n Music (after a slight issue with the coinmech, which produced a god-awful error noise until fixed, haha). I'm just as hilariously awful and awkward at it as I had imagined. That's what I get for only having played on a mini controller I suppose. Fun stuff though, I'll definitely be going down there some more. (nice finally seeing you guys too, by the way. Sorry I'm not talkative)

For now Im putting up with Para Para machines that don't even have sound and broken DDR Machines.

Oh glory.
