Arcade Infinity doesn't need more money. Donate your points to Ground Kontrol and maybe we'll finally get some decent music games in Portland... pfft yeah right, more like half-working games for hipsters

SoCal has such a desolate arcade scene, they need our help to get their fifth IIDX cabinet and tenth SF4

But if they get the money, they'd get a Jubeat machine.

THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES

GK has the best collection of classic arcade games I've seen since I used to work at Hershey Park. They have about another half an arcade worth of machines in storage that they just don't have the room for right now. The $25k from this contest would be put towards renovations to add a kitchen and expand the floor space a bit for more games. They also hold a Rock Band 2 event every Tuesday if you're into that sorta thing, and have gotten recognition from Harmonix a couple of times.

My biggest complaints about them are that their games are playable, but not kept in competitive-level condition and that they've pulled some damned good games in the past like Spy Hunter (broken and gave up on repairing), Battlezone (claimed to be repairing for the last year and then pulled), and their Neo Geo cabs

Oh and yes, Gorf is still there and to my knowledge no exorcists have been brought in (and nobody has bothered dusting off & reseating the boards)

Now I almost feel kinda bad that Ground Kontrol won the Cowbots thing sad.gif

It's always a sad day to hear of any arcades closing, even if it's one I've never been to.

So you're saying you should be able to act like this to a forum administrator, or a teacher, or a police officer, or your own parents and get away with it. You're supposed to respect these folks.

If you or a friend has the Sailor Moon S (uncut) boxset, or any of the Sailor Moon movies (uncut), and would like to sell or trade them, please contact me!

The way I see it, me and Axem are lucky in that we have around 4 years to avoid becoming an utter fuckup like you. It's a nice feeling, being young.
