Pop'n Navy has Classic 5 listed as a 35 on Hyper, yet I cleared it, easily, twice. My absolute upper maximum is 31 and there are 27's I have issues with; in fact, I failed one today after pretty much ignoring all Bemani for a month. Now, I'm wondering if there are errors in databases here (I'm pretty sure Pop'n 7 lists it as 37, for one thing), or if Classic 5 is from an era where more than the last 20 seconds of a song matter in determining its difficulty (and where the *blatant* dickery is saved for Ex). What's up with this?

It's an old difficulty rating. Pop'n Carnival lists Classic5 (H) as 30 difficulty.

Try the EX. 7 has it as a 39, when in fact it's not at all bad. tongue.gif

my technique for innocent walls...
on the song select screen, simply rotate the turntable clockwise or counter-clockwise directly past innocent walls.
My technique for Innocent Walls:
Take both hands off the controller. Hold my arms out straight infront of me (zombie style). Extend middle fingers.
For best experience, keep middle fingers parallel and turned upright.
