I don't really know how many people here are actually from New England, or in the area still. But this is pretty exciting!

A beautiful IIDX 17 SIRIUS machine is coming to Game Underground in Framingham, MA, probably before the end of the month. Official CRT monitor, new turntables, the works.

We've been working on getting a machine in the area for a while, so we are very excited to finally be able to actually do this!

Will update when it arrives! There is already a DrumMania V3, DDR SN2, and DanceManiax 2ndMix Append at Game Underground right now, and there is a huge fighting game scene every Friday night (SSF4/BB/whatever you want) so stop by if you are in the area.

Here are a couple of photos (not at GU, they are from the location the machine is at currently):

You know what'd be awesome? If a lot of retired players started playing, and a lot of retired posters started posting!

EDIT: Seventeen months to the day! That beats my previous record of 7 weeks away by quite a bit!

I'm not from England, but I'm pretty damn glad that you're finally getting such an awesome machine! In the states, as far as I know, there are currently only two beatmaniaIIDX 17 SIRIUS machines---California and Texas. Luckily, I live only one state away from Texas and I got the rare opportunity to play this machine. It's awesome, so awesome that people rise from the dead (Songy) to praise its magnificence.

There's one in Phoenix. And I'm pretty sure California has more than one.

Yeah ummmm SoCal alone has two Resort Anthem machines within a few miles of each other (unless Round 1's machine got delayed yet again? or it's just a Sirius, I don't remember).

So I just happen to be in Boston for an audition at New England Conservatory. Anyway, I'm gonna head over to Game Underground today for some IIDX. Maybe I'll see someone there! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Should be there in an hour or so...

Note: About 25% of my scores on VJA are from when I first played IIDX. They are in no way a representative of my current skill level.
