I propose a new challenge. What's your highest play count on a song? on any game? I started playing pop'n early this year, and I've played the shit out of it. It's too good not to. I have some ridiculous play counts on carnival and a few other games. But Most of these plays are from when I was unable to pass these songs, trying to clear them for the first time.

Megane Rock ex: 50 plays
Hime Trance ex: 74 plays
Des Bossa ex: 49 plays
China Rock ex: 57 plays
Set's Bean ex: 84 plays between 12 and 13
Samba De Classic ex: 39 plays
Grunge Des ex: 113 plays between both 10 and 13 still no clear, and 57 plays on the hyper. lol.
Kaizoku ex: 47 plays
Oi Punk 0 hyper: 57 plays

Electro ex: 83 plays (these were pretty much all S-random practice, i could probably 100k it blind folded on s random)
Contemporary Nation hyper: 55 plays (couldn't pass this for shit, and now i can't do the ex for shit)


Worst part is, these songs were not whored out, the game itself was haha. I have an average of 30 plays for each ex not listed and 10 for each hyper for most songs.

I'll check some out tomorrow. I mostly whore tough to time songs to get used to them, but I do have a few songs I play like ALL THE TIME on EX.

Well David, you should know damn well that I can't really participate in this thread as you and Brett and everyone and their mother are playing at my house on my save multiple times a week over the course of a year, so you guys get to whore out songs FOR me! yayy. My highest playcount on any song however would probably be 1, considering I 100k everything sight-read (this includes s-challenge).

Or I could use my Pop'n Mini, or a DDR mat, or one of many things. But booting the game up, and not being able to play it the correct way would be a waste of several minutes. Sure, I have an unlimited supply of free time, but...I forget what my point was.

Also, 5-line charts are too dull to even play on a DDR mat. Except Misa-Remi. That one was kind of fun.

I played some Carnival today after fixing my controller, but I'm too lazy to check the other games to see how the scores add up. For now, the most plays I have on any chart are

Parade EX: 10
Visual: 10
FM Pop EX: 12
Seisyun Punk EX: 15
Hard PF EX: 17 (cumulatively 32)

Yeah, not very impressive.

I can't play more Pop'n music. It makes me tired. It's not easy going from being able to 99k 38s on a mini, to missing every white blue chord on an ASC. I hear it's easier to play standing up though...

Then again, I was still on the mini when I got Carnival. I'm just not as crazy as some of you, and your 800 plays on V [A] on 9th style alone.

42 plays on Flow Beat EX gets me 99782, while 37 on Hip Rock 3 EX gets me 96.5 GAYS I have a better score on AC ;_;

I played standing up a few weeks ago at Anime USA, before I got back into the game again. Got scores like 99k on Nadeshiko rock 2nd try, 97.5k on House EX, 89k on Classic 4 Hyper nonrand, and various other scores I'm not even close to matching while sitting down yet. I'll eventually play standing up once I get a stand that's the right height for my TV, as right now the best thing we have is either a small chest that lifts it up like a foot and a half, or a drawer that makes it like eye level if I stand straight up (which isn't like playing AC at all).
