So you went and made yer own topic anyhow. You bastard!

I've actually gone up (down?) to 290 since playing GOLD more... still making me one of the slowest readers on VJA. I also am starting to prefer at least 125 S+ on all songs

anywhere from 258-251 depending on how clustered the song is. 251 for everything from easy stuff to sequence cat [a] but if I want to score well on stuff like mei, antares, nageki no ki or golden cross, I tend to use 254-258 `___________________________,

~320 usually, maybe as low as 260-270 if I really have (e.g. FAXX) but that is hard to read. I still play 2hot2eat on HS4 sometimes although the last part is hard to score on at that speed.

I went through a phase where I used high speed mods on everything at the arcade but I have trouble doing the same at home due to the shorter screen. I also don't really like to use sudden+ on anything but slow songs because I tend to read fairly high when I play and sudden+ can mess with that.

usually 270, sometimes down to 267 for more cramped stuff (sense 2007) or 272ish for faster stuff.

~290 with sudden+ about the same. Those numbers may change soon once I start practicing the harder songs again and start working on my reaction time.

240-250 (milliseconds, I think) depending on the day.

Am I really the fastest reader here?

Don't know (haven't booted up IIDX in about three months) but I've actually dodged cars before. Does that count?

330.

Note: About 25% of my scores on VJA are from when I first played IIDX. They are in no way a representative of my current skill level.

So uh, has there been any official explanation for what the green number is? Is it simply reaction time in milliseconds based on the S+ position?

EDIT: 290-300 seems to be the magic number for me.

250-260, usually in that range.
