As for w+w,
FIREBALL
IT'S A NICE ONE

FIREBALL

I've always heard it as:

OSAKA
OSAKA
?????
HAPPY BIRTHDAY (I'm pretty sure THAT's wrong, but I'm pretty confident in the first one)

I've always thought Cold Pulse's noise was "Echelon". But I'm special like that.

Actually, this one I can answer with confidence, since I've heard it many times:

NO PLEASE (DO NOT PANIC)

Source?

I'll let you know if I ever find it again, but it's hidden somewhere in my gigs of random music. I can't even remember what genre of music I found it in. It was either one of the Jet Set Radio OST's, shitty D&B mixes, or FSOL, I'm fairly sure...

If you have a keysounded BMS of the Another, there's a keysound that's just the voice sample. It's definitely NO PLEASE NO PLEASE NO PLEASE NO

I don't hear Do Not Panic anywhere though.

Right, that's why I put that in (prens). It's kind of like how the sample (singular) in 5.8.8. skips a couple lines of text.

Sampling Masters use the full "No Please Do Not Panic" sample on some of their albums.
Kamikaze is using the first part of this sample repeated. Thus the confusion.

It was either one of the Jet Set Radio OST's

Speaking of JSR, I pretty much remember hearing the sample from Sexysexychevy on JSR but can't remember what song it was. The one that sounds like BASKET SHINOBI.

The song that uses the "BACK THAT SHIT UP HOMIE" sample in JSR is "Rock It On."

Rock that shit, homie!

It's apparently sampled from the Public Enemy song "Terminator X Speaks With His Hands" according to http://home.wanadoo.nl/jari/dnb_samples.html

I posted this a while ago in the "musical tastes" thread.

Jet Set's "Grace And Glory" (what an amazing fucking song) and Get On Beat Wild Style (what an amazing song) share a sample.

I'd still like to know the original source of Real's "Monsters!"

I forgot to post this the first time, but if anyone can figure out the samples in Shakin' 31, I'll give them more cookies than Rosie O'Donnell could ever eat.

Okay, listening to 'IIDX' the song has convinced me that one of the lines is:

'Use your gift to uplift and take a shit'

I swear that's what it is.

I've always heard "and take a sip."

Not nearly as funny though.

I think Fire Fire's "Somebody's Cream" is worth mentioning.

This was somewhat funny the first time I heard it.

Months ago.

But honestly, how is it NOT "somebody scream"? The OST versions of Fire Fire and Second Heaven seem PRETTY clear that that's the sample. I haven't heard the GST versions, though, which means I don't know if the sample sounded differently on those versions.

When I first heard Small Waves, I heard "I'm a church" over and over.

Later I figured out that it's "I wanna touch you", but my mind refuses to except it!
