Self explanatory. I wonder how many people will not say DDR?

Anyway, my first bemani game is playing a DDR Max2 machine back in Summer 03.

I think I've been over this before, but I can't remember which one of these I played first Samba De Amigo or DDR.. 'cause I played them both the first time during the same weekend-long party

And then Keyboardmania was my first Bemani after DDR

I played DDR back in 2000, 2nd Remix for the Dreamcast. After that was a DM 1st Mix at the Nickel Nickel in Upland, I think, in 2003.

pump it up for the mega genesis, but i don't really think that counts as bemani

then didder extreme, followed by drummania 8th / guitarfreaks 9th which completely replaced the 4th mix machine that just sat and gathered dust

The Felicia dancing minigame from SNK Vs. Capcom Match of the Millennium, which was uh, not actually a rhythm game, despite looking like one.

ddr konamix, which is actually a pretty okay introduction when you consider it has .59 and several taq\reo nagumo\hiroshi watanabe songs

It never ends.

You call it a miracle.

Others opt to refer to it by its ORIGINAL NAME

Pretty sure it was DDR 3rd CS, I remember it having Afronova and Boom Boom Dollar. It may have been Konamix but I'm pretty sure it was JP 3rd because those aren't on Konamix I think. It was around the time MAX AC came out. I remember seeing my friend play Afronova doubles heavy on 2 softmats and thinking it was the most impossible thing ever. I wish I remembered the first song I played but I don't. And then I remember seeing him play MAX300 doubles on Stepmania and thinking that was really impossible. I thought it was neat but was too lazy to really look into it more.

Fast forward a couple months, and I randomly saw someone else playing BMR's simfile for Classic Party Triathalon, which is I think what got me really hooked. I downloaded a simulator (Diet Diet Revolution) a couple days later and that's pretty much how things started. So I guess you could say, the song that really got me into Bemani was Classic Party Triathalon, and if that song didn't exist I might not be playing IIDX now.
