Your school probably just had standard DSL shared between everyone, I imagine they just got it intending for it to be used for research purposes and not gaming. I lived in the country and I had like 3.5mbps DSL, people in the city can get like 50-100 mbps fibre.

I guess that makes sense, maybe it's my connection that's unstable then. Still, I've never had any problems occur during matches against players from the US, any lag that's there from the start stays there pretty much.

I only have this on PS3 so...
PSN: glirandly

I play Rachel. I also fool around with Ragna online by bursting first thing every round and then trying to win that way. tongue.gif

How good is your rachel? I almost beat a level 68 the other night and I'm looking for rachels who know how to zone properly since that's the first time I've lost to one.

I like to say I have a decent Rachel. I used to play using my older brother's PSN account so unfortunately for him the main character is stuck on Rachel for awhile. The "glirandly" account is a sort of alt. account since I basically started level 1 with nothing but Rachel and got up to 40 something in about a day.
You play Nu right? I've beaten a couple of the higher level Nu's before but I generally lose to people like Kijea and KoreanHacker or w/e that guy's name was. Basically any Nu that can also hold their own during rushdown I lose to lol.

I'm trying to play this again since Continuum Shift comes out next week or something and Arcade UFO in Austin, Texas have announced that they preordered it. All I've been playing lately is Tekken 6 and Street Fighter IV since that's all people play at my college :X

How is it even possible to get lv.40something in a day. I have around 700 ranked matches, around 200 player matches, and a win ratio slightly upward of 50%. I guess if you fight nothing but bad high level people over and over it would be possible. The top Jin isn't all that great.

[edit] Also, the people at MY college don't play anything! And if they do, it doesn't show. I'm sure they play Madden and CoD.

Pretty much this. Most of the higher level Jin's that I fought to get to 40 all I had to do was block and punish. My win rate is around 62% right now IIRC. I've mainly lost to the higher level Tager's and Carl's.

Yeah there is plenty of Madden and CoD at the roost at my college as well.

I lose to a lot of scrubby lv. 40+ jins still, pretty much everyone else is a win if they're not over 45 or so. It sounds like you're way better than me though, I'm only like lv. 32 or something lol. I'm by no means a good nu, I'm just not bad at being patient and rushdown like a lot of other nus seem to be.

Can you scrubs shut up about mediocre airdashers and talk more about NO DISTORTION.

I mean fuck, the scratches go along with Billy rubbing his ass in the shower. Too good.

BOY B-BOY B-B-BOY NEXT DOOR

Derek, we're leaving this fucking website. It's all about scrubs now. Everyone's just Dane's Son Redux.

Ok good I'm not the only person who noticed this

Everyone not discussing NO DISTORTION got the wrong door. I'm sure lots of fighting game discussion goes on at the leather club though.

Actually, it does. Me and Derek were talking about Tekken 6 there just the other day.

Aw man, that's the one thing I miss from work - real, good fighting game discussions. sad.gif

Also, hearing people talking smack about Tekken got pretty intense sometimes haha.

Also also, sorry Toph, I haven't clicked that link yet, maybe I should.

Toph's threads always get ruined and he always comes back to say "fuck y'all" to some extent

I will try to help the thread out by posting some Billy Herrington action figure pictures
