These experiences can go both very well, or very very poorly.

On one hand, you could be with a date, and the date isn't liking the date much at all, and then they're taking forever anyway, and it's just getting grating on your nerves and things feel like they're falling apart and life ends.

On the other, you're at a restaurant with a group of friends, everybody's laughing and having a great time, and the waiter keeps coming over to apologize and you kind of get annoyed but it's whatever. Then the manager takes your order for you and brings out your food and you get the entire evening for free.

Fortunately I've only experienced the latter (personally, at least). This also reminds me that I love Mimi's Cafe.

Dude, Fridays is only $20 if you're getting like, an appetizer just for yourself, some massive steak AND dessert.

high metabolism, I eat heavily.

my last order was thirty six bucks and my friend's was sixteen if that explains anything.

If I'm going to spend $36 per head at a casual restaurant I'd better be ordering filet mignon.

At least it doesn't cost you $90 every time your workplace organises a fancy dinner btns.gif

No, I was referring to "organized events" like Xythar was talking about -- ones where you don't get a choice, really.

If my workplace ever has an organized dinner event, it's completely paid for by the company. Kinda sucks that they'd do that and then make their employees pick up their own tabs, if that's what Xythar's saying.
