The Tatsh vs. DJ MURASAME quality difference is kind of like what the idiots on bemanistyle said about SLAKE vs. SPARKER, except in Tatsh's case it's actually true.

Here's the idea: 30 short tracks, can be played in ANY order, they would still be connected. The "connected track" played in the youtube preview is 22 -> 25 -> 4 -> 1 -> 11.

Not only is this pretty cool but it makes a lot of sense considering how much of a departure SHADE was from Anthem Landing and Scripted Connection. The others broke into three parts nicely (I'm really fond of the bridge into Another on Anthem Landing) but they were still pretty straightforward 6-minute tracks. Shade feels more like a whole bunch of little pieces that progress nicely but don't have anywhere near as much in common with each other. In fact now that it's been brought up like this I want to see somebody try and cut a different sequence for Shade.

It's out. Not "up" yet so here's another sample. Tatsh says he likes track 16 the most out of everything.

maybe it's just me, but i feel like the default tracklist flows worse than any possible random sequence of the tracks.

who would listen to the album by default order though

That's like watching Haruhi in chronological order.

eh, i was curious. besides, it's extremely unlikely, but default order is possible in a random sequence. Free Connection shuffle is good shit, though, no joke.

The only downside to the album is that it's not even 20 minutes, but it's an exceptionally neat experiment that works.

Cause I like to keep the party going like a G, I shuffle and repeat all, so its like an endless mix....
Its been going for 2 days straight and still hasn't gotten old. No joke man,

This is a genuinely cool CD. It not only works incredibly well in endless shuffle playback, but could create a whole bunch of different custom playback setups.
Default playback definitely doesn't work though. I tried it out.....wasn't long before I switched back to shuffle.

Track 21 is the best track, but it also sounds a lot like Naoki's Tangerine Stream remix.
