maybe I just don't get it because I'm bad at this game but is there a point to using expand judge other than "trick onlookers into thinking you're better than you actually are"

also, stuff that stuck out to me about the songlist:
AFRO KNUCKLE - song of the style, my only regret is that i listened to it 100 times on launch day and will get tired of it faster than anyone ever should
Bassdrop freaks - this is hilarious I just wish it were actually a good song
Hi-Funk Prim - This rules, are we sure it's made by LED? It doesn't have the insufferable synth and drum beat that are like 2/3 of what makes every Prim song impossible to listen to so I mean.
Line 4 Ruin - I dig this a lot and it's a pleasant surprise given the general quality of recent Ryu songs, can't wait for the long version where he plays a PARTY TIME sample then repeats the song at 185 BPM
mayumi morinaga thingy - this is so uninspired it literally turns into the touhou menu scale for 8 notes
Monopole. - composition is whatever but I don't listen to vocaloid music, between this and bamboo sword girl does cosmobop always use such bad soundfonts?
Space Land Toybox - Oster should make more IIDX songs like this because this rules and has the best bga while devilz etc were boring as shit.
X Up X Down - This better be getting a long version because it is so good. Better than nijuu even. I like the part where it cuts out and gets all chill before resuming and want to hear that expanded on
visual novel bullshit - why does this even exist. okay i'm one of the 2 people who liked diavolo, thor's hammer was funny, thunder love beanball had a great gitadora version but i really think whenever LED sits down to collaborate with wac the first thing he says is "okay, how can we make our song terrible THIS time"
Vulkan - went into this expecting it to be really unique and enjoyable but it just didn't go anywhere. Hommarju in iidx is promises and disappointment. well I love Verflucht now so maybe it will grow on me?
#The_Relentless - I like this but it sounds like Monkey Business which is a better song so yeah, mediocre Noriken default song #3 better luck next time.

otherwise I like illuminate, On my wings remix, Night sky, blaze it up, amnolys, FANTASTIC THREE, and the new bloom fusion a lot but have nothing interesting to say about them. overall the default songs are pretty good but not as good as SPADA's imo.

yeah spaceland is waaaaay more like what i'm used to from oster which is a good thing

xx is less obviously abridged than nijuu gamecut was but i'd be surprised if he doesn't come up with a long version somewhere. in the meantime there's still a friend if you haven't heard it yet, it's pretty similar

and yeah illuminate is great though aside from gradius i've really liked basically every sota song in what seems like a pretty long time

to be fair basically every recent sota song has been great, at least in iidx (and the ones i don't like are more "boring" than "bad" also move that body and dance all night are cool)

Sota makes good songs and average/forgettable songs but I don't think he's ever made a bad song.

you can unlock beyond the earth but...

ANOTHER chart: Finish any song with an EX-Score that exactly matches the clock time you started the song at (i.e. finish with an EX-Score of 1345 if you started the song at 13:45).

hahahahaha

It's a good thing you can just fail once you get the EX required, still a dumb unlock method though.

Got a chance to play this today:
-Rave saves you is "that" song
-I like chrono seeker's unlock method better than Qprogue except for the part where you gotta do each part on specific days which is kind of a hassle
-Tropical Club has the dopest chart in the game so far
-I'm so glad I got to play an OSTER Project song that isn't devilz ______

if you're on real e-amuse you gotta buy japanese coca-cola products to unlock a kuroneko dungeon song

If only I was in cali and had the choice to play on PW then it's an absolute no brainer to play on PW. Why bother playing a essentially crippled version of the same game other then "it's real e-amuse"?

This is coming from someone who doesn't really like the DJH guys personally.

The reason I play on real e-amuse is because for me real e-amuse is 25 minutes away and good e-amuse (PW) is 50-60 minutes away.

They finally unlocked the last Chrono Seeker song, Broken Sword:

why make a new style when it's clear you're still using songs that were probably planned for SPADA
