Takes me about a week each time I take time off. Then about five weeks of raising scores and beating new stuff before taking 6 more months off.

I'll probably never play this game seriously again until a new CS release comes out. Im sure that's the case for a few others as well.

I still play IIDX and BM I religiously almost everyday...that is, until I got jubeat plus, lol. Now, I play IIDX every other day. As for SIRIUS CS, looks like that is going to be on a hiatus as well due to KONAMI closing shop until March 24th due to the motherfucking earthquake. Today was supposed to be the release date for the reproduction KONAMI Official beatmania IIDX Controller, but it looks like that's not happening for a while.

I'm actually sick of whatever CS mix is new the second I play it, because I play SP 7kyu first and work my way up, then start from L7 and work up from there too, playing every fucking revival and trying to match AAA/FC on other styles. Enjoying it comes much later down the line when I have nothing I'm anywhere near close to doing (finally approaching that point again).

I tried that and when I got to Empress I just said fuck revivals and played through everything that was new.

To be fair though I didn't finish playing though everything when DJT came out so I still have everything played on that game and I think every game from 9th-Gold. 8th and below I just played stuff exclusive to those styles.

But you have the same completionist mentality I have lol.

You call it a miracle.

Others opt to refer to it by its ORIGINAL NAME

Self-diagnosing yourself with Asperger's on the internet is a rite of passage.

Preferably it comes with a series of long LiveJournal posts about how you came to your conclusion, and most importantly how it makes you a special snowflake different from everybody else.

Whoa hold on now, since when was spergin' a good thing?

I can seriously not stay away from the goddamn arcades, so even if I'm not playing IIDX, I'll be playing popn or something.
And then I go play IIDX just because, get a near-AA on reunion, and relax because I haven't lost ALL my skill.

Honestly, I'm a completionist with everything (and somewhat a perfectionist as well) so AAA/FCing everything is an absolute necessity, and I'm not even done clearing/hard clearing eveything yet :< If S3 had an updated DJ points algorithm I'd be playing everything I have a low score on because EX actually matters now.

I played IIDX last weekend and I got depressed because I saw all this great scores I had and I can't come close to getting those now. Clearing wise I'm worse at clearing 12s but 11s and below I'm still fine, it's just that my timing is worse now.

But it felt like if I played for a few weeks I could be back up to speed. I guess I'll see what summer has in store for me.
