The Night of QQQ one - In the first few seconds, the "oh oh oh" part of night of fire, is that sound clip the original clip from the song or did you tweak it to sound abit different? Because, IMO, it sounds a lot better than I remember it sounding.

I believed he used Traktor DJ Studio. Pity, since Beatport had version 2.6 at half price some time ago...

I'm just imagining the sort of things you could do by using keysounds and making a tapestry out of that. Shouldn't be too hard to write a BMS to Fruitloops session or whatever convertor, and it would solve the usual overcrowding problem that mashups have.

Valesynctorian sounds like it might have been interesting but it's horribly dissonant... on the other hand Night of QQQ is lol

R3 + Grad Cyber is pretty awesome too, but for some reason RISLIM 300 is my favourite mashup. There's something about the way the intro vocals for RISLIM mix with Max 300's initial buildup sequence that's really quite awesome. If it were properly stitched up with keysounds (although Max 300 on IIDX < DDR Max 300) then it could be very nice indeed. RISLIM -Hardcore mix- anyone?

This is correct. 3.0 is due out in a few months, I'll have to upgrade.

Haven't listened to any yet, will once I get home. (And edit this post accordingly...)

I'd kill to see PartyBen get his hands on some IIDX faves and see what he would do with them...

Let them Dunk is almost tolerable...but still bad for the reason Let them Move was. x_x
Cool shit anyway.

This is pretty crappy compared to Remy's mashups but I thought it was okay for something that took me 5 minutes to make in Audacity.

Had Shakin' 31 and Drop on the Floor been in sync with each other, that would have been even more awesome IMO.

How so? I thought I matched the BPMs, but they might be off by a bit... :/

Oh, the tempo is fine. Basically, Shakin' 31 has 65 measures, while Drop on the Floor basically has 63, so not only does it end before Shakin' 31 does ... well, consider that the songs generally have phrases of 8 measures that are all a statement of one theme. Drop on the Floor starts its groups before Shakin' 31 does for most of the song because it has that two-measure lead in. Consider a part of each song: the part of Shakin' 31 that sounds like vocoded voices going "If you care about it, then you're feeling old" and the part of Drop on the Floor that has the "Here we go again". They're roughly the same part within each song, but Drop on the Floor starts it two measures early because it has the short lead-in. So, by "out of sync", I really mean "Assume the songs have roughly the same structure; Drop on the Floor ends early and doesn't start its corresponding parts of the song in time with Shakin' 31".

If that was a poor explanation and all it did was confuse you more, I'm sorry ^^; It boils down to "try starting Drop on the Floor two measures later".

I'm really scared at how well this works at times. I had to end one of the tracks slightly early, though, because they're different lengths.

Anyway, in honor of 10th Style:

Noria vs. RAM - BABY LOW

I really just made it because A) I thought the title was funny and cool.gif they actually kinda work (in a weird sort of way) in a few spots. A better "real" mashup is below wink.gif
