I was trying to dig up info about Ram and I find this http://www.discogs.com/artist/Pentagon.
According to IIDX Icon Ram's real name is Kouichi Yamazaki.
Pentagon has also composed some tracks to Ico. I think that's pretty cool.

www.musicstack.com

Search for Pentagon, a bunch of stuff. I'm just weary about buying it before hearing it first, so let me see if I can find a site with samples of it I can listen to.

EDIT: FOUND.

http://www.musicoutfitter.com/store/item/6...ontraffic2.html

Has a sample from Spiderman and every other track on that cd... it's pretty weird.

EDIT2: K found some more

http://www.breakbeatscience.com/scan/se=Pe...tml?id=iuvwLydn

Actually, the only track on that link that he did is Ladybird.

http://www.rolldabeats.com/artist/pentagon

EDIT3: Guess I'll keep editing while I find stuff by this guy.

I guess I really shouldn't care since after all it could just be some random dude with the same name that makes breakbeats/dnb but who knows:?

Well atleast I think it's too much of a coincidence. I managed to get the full version of ladybird and I think it sounds like Ram.

EDIT:
It seems ENOLA QUINTET is Mitukuni Murayama(Mitsukuni Murayama) who is the second member of Pentagon.

EDIT2:

Mitsukuni Murayama was also sound data analyzer for some 5-key beatmanias.

EDIT3:
This pretty much gives it away: http://www.de-bug.de/texte/2947.html.
I don't know german but I translated it with babelfish and there was this part:
"Kouichi was at that time employed with Sony computer Entertainment as sound designers. From the common work on a computer game the contact resulted. Since then the two are so well inseparable. Kouichi quit its job and the two operates to today its own studio."

Well, that would explain where RAM made off too.

Pretty interesting. A lot of the stuff under the "pentagon" moniker has been quality. Although now it'll be hard to not compare their 2001 release Mendoza to SHOX.

Seems they have a myspace up with some more tunes with a few friends of theirs.
